By clicking on this link, you’ll find an article on winter ailments and the best tips to cope with them. Entitled “Coping with the woes of the cold season“, the article by Dr. Christiane Laberge, written in collaboration with Rachel Robert of HRI, can be found on pages 62-63 of the new Fall 2023 edition of Montréal en santé.
Here’s a short extract from the article:
“Are respiratory infections on the horizon? You will be aware that some people will be more relieved of their pain and/or fever by acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol) while others will respond better to ibuprofen (e.g. Advil). Everyone is right because people know each other well. For example, consider the case of a person who feels a burning sensation in the throat, but is relieved by a warm liquid. This may seems a bit particular but is nevertheless true for some people. It is their individual reaction to the disease. We could suggest in homeopathy, Arsenicum album 7CH, while we could also offer Apis mellifica 15CH, to people who would rather be relieved by cold or ice.”
